gnome-search-tool software package provides GNOME tool to search files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-search-tool
gnome-search-tool is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-search-tool package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-search-tool *
You will get with gnome-search-tool package name, version, architecture and description in a table
