gnobots2 software package provides improved old BSD robots game (transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnobots2
gnobots2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnobots2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnobots2 *
You will get with gnobots2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
