globus-core software package provides Globus Toolkit - Globus Core, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install globus-core
globus-core is installed in your system.
Make ensure the globus-core package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep globus-core *
You will get with globus-core package name, version, architecture and description in a table
