gimp-flegita software package provides Scanner plugin for the GNU image manipulation program, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gimp-flegita
gimp-flegita is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gimp-flegita package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gimp-flegita *
You will get with gimp-flegita package name, version, architecture and description in a table
