gdisk-noicu software package provides GPT fdisk text-mode partitioning tool (without unicode support), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gdisk-noicu
gdisk-noicu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gdisk-noicu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gdisk-noicu *
You will get with gdisk-noicu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
