How to uninstall or remove gcj-native-helper software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gcj-native-helper package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gcj-native-helper 

Uninstall gcj-native-helper including dependent package

If you would like to remove gcj-native-helper and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gcj-native-helper 
Use Purging gcj-native-helper

If you use with purge options to gcj-native-helper package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gcj-native-helper 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gcj-native-helper
