gcc-4.8-arm-linux-gnueabihf-ba software package provides GCC, the GNU Compiler Collection (base package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gcc-4.8-arm-linux-gnueabihf-ba
gcc-4.8-arm-linux-gnueabihf-ba is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gcc-4.8-arm-linux-gnueabihf-ba package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gcc-4.8-arm-linux-gnueabihf-ba*
You will get with gcc-4.8-arm-linux-gnueabihf-ba package name, version, architecture and description in a table
