fusefat software package provides File System in User Space - Module for FAT, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fusefat
fusefat is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fusefat package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fusefat *
You will get with fusefat package name, version, architecture and description in a table
