ftpwatch software package provides Notifies you of changes on remote ftp servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ftpwatch
ftpwatch is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ftpwatch package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ftpwatch *
You will get with ftpwatch package name, version, architecture and description in a table
