freebsd-mk software package provides FreeBSD makefile templates for bmake, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freebsd-mk
freebsd-mk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freebsd-mk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freebsd-mk *
You will get with freebsd-mk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
