fonts-lohit-telu software package provides Lohit TrueType font for Telugu Language, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-lohit-telu
fonts-lohit-telu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-lohit-telu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-lohit-telu *
You will get with fonts-lohit-telu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
