How to uninstall or remove floppy-modules-3.13.0-24-power software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed floppy-modules-3.13.0-24-power package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove floppy-modules-3.13.0-24-power

Uninstall floppy-modules-3.13.0-24-power including dependent package

If you would like to remove floppy-modules-3.13.0-24-power and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove floppy-modules-3.13.0-24-power

Use Purging floppy-modules-3.13.0-24-power

If you use with purge options to floppy-modules-3.13.0-24-power package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge floppy-modules-3.13.0-24-power

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove floppy-modules-3.13.0-24-power
