fglrx-updates-dev software package provides Video driver for the AMD graphics accelerators (devel files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fglrx-updates-dev
fglrx-updates-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fglrx-updates-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fglrx-updates-dev *
You will get with fglrx-updates-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
