epm software package provides Cross-platform package builder by Easy Software Products, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install epm
epm is installed in your system.
Make ensure the epm package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep epm *
You will get with epm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
