email-reminder software package provides Send event reminders by email, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install email-reminder
email-reminder is installed in your system.
Make ensure the email-reminder package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep email-reminder *
You will get with email-reminder package name, version, architecture and description in a table
