elastix software package provides toolbox for rigid and nonrigid registration of images, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install elastix
elastix is installed in your system.
Make ensure the elastix package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep elastix *
You will get with elastix package name, version, architecture and description in a table
