ecosconfig-imx software package provides eCos configuration tool for imx SoCs RedBoot, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ecosconfig-imx
ecosconfig-imx is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ecosconfig-imx package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ecosconfig-imx *
You will get with ecosconfig-imx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
