dynare-common software package provides platform for handling a wide class of economic models (common files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dynare-common
dynare-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dynare-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dynare-common *
You will get with dynare-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
