dvdtape software package provides Create DVD master filesystems on DLT media, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dvdtape
dvdtape is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dvdtape package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dvdtape *
You will get with dvdtape package name, version, architecture and description in a table
