dssi-dev software package provides Header file for compiling DSSI plugins and hosts, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dssi-dev
dssi-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dssi-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dssi-dev *
You will get with dssi-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
