doublecmd-gtk-dbg software package provides twin-panel (commander-style) file manager (GTK2 - debug), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install doublecmd-gtk-dbg
doublecmd-gtk-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the doublecmd-gtk-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep doublecmd-gtk-dbg *
You will get with doublecmd-gtk-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
