How to Install docsis software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

docsis software package provides generates configuration files for DOCSIS-compliant cable modems, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install docsis

docsis is installed in your system.

Make ensure the docsis package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep docsis *

You will get with docsis package name, version, architecture and description in a table
