dns-flood-detector software package provides detect abusive usage levels on high traffic nameservers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dns-flood-detector
dns-flood-detector is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dns-flood-detector package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dns-flood-detector *
You will get with dns-flood-detector package name, version, architecture and description in a table
