How to Install dmtcp software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

dmtcp software package provides Checkpoint/Restart functionality for Linux processes, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dmtcp

dmtcp is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dmtcp package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dmtcp *

You will get with dmtcp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
