How to Install distcc software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

distcc software package provides simple distributed compiler client and server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install distcc

distcc is installed in your system.

Make ensure the distcc package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep distcc *

You will get with distcc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
