How to Install diskscan software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

diskscan software package provides scan HDD/SSD for bad or near failure sectors, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install diskscan

diskscan is installed in your system.

Make ensure the diskscan package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep diskscan *

You will get with diskscan package name, version, architecture and description in a table
