dh-autoreconf software package provides debhelper add-on to call autoreconf and clean up after the build, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dh-autoreconf
dh-autoreconf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dh-autoreconf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dh-autoreconf *
You will get with dh-autoreconf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
