How to Install debootstrap software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

debootstrap software package provides Bootstrap a basic Debian system, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install debootstrap

debootstrap is installed in your system.

Make ensure the debootstrap package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep debootstrap *

You will get with debootstrap package name, version, architecture and description in a table
