How to Install cup software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

cup software package provides LALR parser generator for Java(tm), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install cup

cup is installed in your system.

Make ensure the cup package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cup *

You will get with cup package name, version, architecture and description in a table
