How to uninstall or remove crypto-modules-3.13.0-24-gener software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed crypto-modules-3.13.0-24-gener package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

Uninstall crypto-modules-3.13.0-24-gener including dependent package

If you would like to remove crypto-modules-3.13.0-24-gener and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove crypto-modules-3.13.0-24-gener

Use Purging crypto-modules-3.13.0-24-gener

If you use with purge options to crypto-modules-3.13.0-24-gener package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge crypto-modules-3.13.0-24-gener

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove crypto-modules-3.13.0-24-gener
