cordova-ubuntu-2.8 software package provides Cordova Framework for building mobile web apps, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cordova-ubuntu-2.8
cordova-ubuntu-2.8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cordova-ubuntu-2.8 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cordova-ubuntu-2.8 *
You will get with cordova-ubuntu-2.8 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
