How to uninstall or remove coinor-libcoinutils3 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed coinor-libcoinutils3 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove coinor-libcoinutils3

Uninstall coinor-libcoinutils3 including dependent package

If you would like to remove coinor-libcoinutils3 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove coinor-libcoinutils3

Use Purging coinor-libcoinutils3

If you use with purge options to coinor-libcoinutils3 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge coinor-libcoinutils3

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove coinor-libcoinutils3
