coinor-libclp-dev software package provides Coin-or linear programming solver (developer files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install coinor-libclp-dev
coinor-libclp-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the coinor-libclp-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep coinor-libclp-dev *
You will get with coinor-libclp-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
