centerim software package provides A text-mode multi-protocol instant messenger client, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install centerim
centerim is installed in your system.
Make ensure the centerim package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep centerim *
You will get with centerim package name, version, architecture and description in a table
