autofs-ldap software package provides LDAP map support for autofs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install autofs-ldap
autofs-ldap is installed in your system.
Make ensure the autofs-ldap package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep autofs-ldap *
You will get with autofs-ldap package name, version, architecture and description in a table
