atheme-services software package provides modular IRC services daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install atheme-services
atheme-services is installed in your system.
Make ensure the atheme-services package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep atheme-services *
You will get with atheme-services package name, version, architecture and description in a table
