aspell-pt-pt software package provides European Portuguese dictionary for GNU Aspell, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aspell-pt-pt
aspell-pt-pt is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aspell-pt-pt package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aspell-pt-pt *
You will get with aspell-pt-pt package name, version, architecture and description in a table
