libcgi-application-server-perl software package provides simple HTTP server for developing with CGI::Application, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcgi-application-server-perl
libcgi-application-server-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcgi-application-server-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcgi-application-server-perl*
You will get with libcgi-application-server-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
