You can uninstall or removes an installed libcgi-application-plugin-logd package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libcgi-application-plugin-logd

Uninstall libcgi-application-plugin-logd including dependent package

If you would like to remove libcgi-application-plugin-logd and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcgi-application-plugin-logd
Use Purging libcgi-application-plugin-logd

If you use with purge options to libcgi-application-plugin-logd package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libcgi-application-plugin-logd

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.
