libcgal8 software package provides C++ library for computational geometry, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcgal8
libcgal8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcgal8 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcgal8 *
You will get with libcgal8 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
