How to uninstall or remove libcal3d12 software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libcal3d12 package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libcal3d12

Uninstall libcal3d12 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libcal3d12 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcal3d12

Use Purging libcal3d12

If you use with purge options to libcal3d12 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libcal3d12

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcal3d12
