libcairo2-dbg software package provides The Cairo 2D vector graphics library (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcairo2-dbg
libcairo2-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcairo2-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcairo2-dbg *
You will get with libcairo2-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
