libbox-dev software package provides Boxlib: C++ Block-structured finite difference algorithms library, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbox-dev
libbox-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbox-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbox-dev *
You will get with libbox-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
