libbinio-dev software package provides Binary I/O stream class library (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbinio-dev
libbinio-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbinio-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbinio-dev *
You will get with libbinio-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
