libbin-prot-camlp4-dev software package provides type-safe binary serialization for OCaml values, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbin-prot-camlp4-dev
libbin-prot-camlp4-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbin-prot-camlp4-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbin-prot-camlp4-dev *
You will get with libbin-prot-camlp4-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
