How to uninstall or remove libbeid2-dev software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libbeid2-dev package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libbeid2-dev 

Uninstall libbeid2-dev including dependent package

If you would like to remove libbeid2-dev and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbeid2-dev 
Use Purging libbeid2-dev

If you use with purge options to libbeid2-dev package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libbeid2-dev 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbeid2-dev
