libbcprov-java software package provides Bouncy Castle Java Cryptographic Service Provider, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbcprov-java
libbcprov-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbcprov-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbcprov-java *
You will get with libbcprov-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
