How to uninstall or remove libaxiom-java software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libaxiom-java package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libaxiom-java

Uninstall libaxiom-java including dependent package

If you would like to remove libaxiom-java and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libaxiom-java

Use Purging libaxiom-java

If you use with purge options to libaxiom-java package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libaxiom-java

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libaxiom-java
