How to uninstall or remove libaudit0 software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libaudit0 package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libaudit0 

Uninstall libaudit0 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libaudit0 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libaudit0 
Use Purging libaudit0

If you use with purge options to libaudit0 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libaudit0 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libaudit0
