How to uninstall or remove libassa3.5-5 software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libassa3.5-5 package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libassa3.5-5

Uninstall libassa3.5-5 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libassa3.5-5 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libassa3.5-5

Use Purging libassa3.5-5

If you use with purge options to libassa3.5-5 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libassa3.5-5

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libassa3.5-5
